We are very pleased with the options and advice you provided, the quality of construction, and the final result. Both the translucent and reflective ceilings add the appropriate energy to each room: one by the lights behind the ceiling, the latter by reflecting the activity of the room. Even as construction continues in these rooms we hear Oohs and Aaas from most visitors and contractors.

We were having difficulty in moderating the temperature in our building due to large skylights on the main level that allowed our workspace to get exceedingly hot. The air conditioners struggled to keep up, and ended up freezing out everyone on the lower level. No one was comfortable. The stretch ceilings were the perfect solution! They allowed all the beautiful light in, but created a barrier to the heat! The change in temperatures for both levels was dramatic as the air conditioning was able to function properly. And, the ceilings look beautiful! The installation was done meticulously and there was absolutely no mess. They were even able to install a rather large one right over our reception computer and telephone area without anything being moved! We are so very grateful for the suggestion to explore these stretch ceilings and look forward to the significant savings in utility bills!

My wife and I saw a Phoenix Stretch Ceiling at a local Bath supply shop. We were intrigued and visited Axel at his business location (The Factory, Kelowna). He was very pleasant and professional showing us all the options available, to include the ceiling types and the different lighting options. We decided to have him install two ceilings … one in a small bathroom and one to cover a skylight. Axel visited our house, looked at the proposed locations, made some very good recommendations. His quote was delivered in a timely manner and when we decided to proceed with the project, Axel and Mirco provided great service through the process. They finished both projects approximately one week before our requested deadline. We needed some electrical work done for the install and the electrician we had intended to hire was unavailable. Axel recommended an excellent electrician as an alternative and he did a great job too.

My home has some terribly dated ceilings –remember the “icicle” look from the ’70’s! Where it wasn’t icicles it was the “popcorn” look. The problem was removing the drywall ceilings would be a huge, dusty and lengthy job. Additionally, my ’70’s drywall tested positive for asbestos so the cost to professionally remove was enormous. A large portion of my home is 17ft high ceilings, further compounding the problems and cost. I was really stuck with the old, ugly ceilings.
A friend from Germany suggested membrane ceilings as a great way to resolve my issue. I hadn’t even heard of such a product but soon found Phoenix Stretch Ceilings in Kelowna. Axel is the owner and he and his sons, Mirco and Sascha, installed this amazing product throughout the problem areas of my home, along with some modern lighting solutions.
It’s rare that a renovation comes out better than you expected, in this case the transformation is beyond my expectations; it’s simply unbelievable. The icicles and popcorn and tacky lights are now smooth gloss ceilings with flush mounted LED lights. My older home suddenly looks new, elegant and super sophisticated. No dust, drywall or hassle either. The boys did a great job, they were very careful to not damage walls, remove shoes and respect the contents of my home. They stayed on budget too. This is perhaps a small thing but appreciated by me–no swearing and no smoking–they are true gentlemen!

Improved room acoustics with Phoenix Stretch Ceilings!
I have made professional videos and audio recordings for 20 years. I used to go into professional sound or film studios to create them.
But thanks to technology, I now create my own and share them via social media.
But until I installed a Phoenix Stretch Ceiling, my own recordings never sounded as good as those done in a studio — due to echoes.
Now you can’t tell them apart.
